About Breanna Wilson, Founder & Blogger at Meanwhile in Mongolia

Hello! I’m Breanna Wilson, a seasoned travel writer and local Mongolia expert with bylines in Forbes, CNN, and more. Welcome to my Mongolia travel blog!

Before starting Meanwhile in Mongolia, I was a full-time travel writer and world traveler. Having visited more than 50 countries, it was Mongolia that eventually captured my heart. After my first trip here in 2018, I knew this was a place I wanted to move to and live in. More than 7 years later I’m still happy with that decision and continue to love every moment I get to spend in this wild and wonderful country.

After calling Mongolia home for a few years, I decided to put my travel writing experience to use and created Meanwhile in Mongolia so that I can share those tips, tricks, and hacks I learned the hard way with other adventurous souls who want to travel in Mongolia.

Inside this Mongolia travel blog you’ll find travel guides, hotel recommendations, packing lists, and more useful tips and advice I’ve learned the hard way. You’ll also find out how you can join me on a small group tour of Mongolia and come ride horses, learn how to shoot mounted archery, visit reindeer herders, live with local nomadic herding families, and more!

Read through the articles on this travel blog at leisure and feel free to reach out to me at anytime with questions, comments, or feedback.

If you’d like me to write about something specific, let me know that as well! You can reach out to me anytime or join my Private Mongolia Facebook Travel Group where I share up-to-date information and news on what’s happening in and around Mongolia.

And, if you ever find yourself in Ulaanbaatar, let me know! I’m always open to meeting new people for a coffee… or something stronger!

How Safe is Mongolia
